In other words, don’t be fooled into shelling out extra for chicken without hormones as none of them have it. The other term commonly bandied about in conjunction with chicken is free-range. While this verbiage conjures images of wide-open pastures and lush green grass, all it stipulates is that the chickens have access to the outdoors for at least some portion of the day.
